Built on Belief and Backed by Great Deals: Soft Canada Auctions Launches to make winners every week.

Every great business has a moment where it stops being an idea and becomes something you can walk into. For Soft Canada Auctions, that moment came on May 29, 2026 — when founders Tomi and Wole Adenuga stood before their community, cut a ribbon, and officially opened the doors to a dream they had been building with faith, purpose, and unwavering determination.

On a bright Friday morning in Hamilton, the air outside the Soft Canada Auctions warehouse carried the unmistakable energy of something new and fresh. Red and green balloons arched over the entrance, a DJ set the mood, and a growing crowd of guests, friends, and well-wishers gathered to witness the official grand opening of what promises to be one of the most exciting liquidation auction businesses in the country.

The ceremony opened with prayer, led by Pastor Fidelis Odogbo, who called for blessings over the business and over its founders — Tomi and Wole Adenuga — setting a tone of faith, purpose, and community that would carry throughout the entire event.

A Stamp of Honour from Parliament Hill

Among the distinguished guests present was Ned Kuruc, Member of Parliament for Hamilton East–Stoney Creek, who brought with him a formal congratulatory letter from the Parliament of Canada. It was a significant moment — an immigrant-founded small business being officially recognised by the federal government on the day of its launch.

MP Kuruc did not simply show up. He spoke. He spoke with the warmth of someone who understands, from personal experience, what it means to build something in this country. As an immigrant and business owner himself, he shared his genuine passion for small businesses — particularly those founded by immigrants who are creating employment, investing locally, and giving back to the very communities that welcomed them. His words were not ceremonial. They landed.

The Heart Behind the Business

When it was time for Tomi Adenuga to take the microphone, the room grew attentive. She spoke about the why — the motivation that pushed her to build Soft Canada Auctions from the ground up.

In a time when the cost of living continues to press hard on Canadian families, Tomi saw an opportunity to offer real relief. Soft Canada Auctions, she explained, is not just a business — it is a response. A response to the economic reality that many Canadians face every day. By providing access to quality electronics, furniture, and household goods through a transparent, accessible online bidding process — with all bids starting at just $1.00 CAD — the business offers something the market needed.

But her speech went deeper than economics. She spoke about her mother, a woman who modelled resilience and business savvy in a way that shaped how Tomi sees the world and what she believes is possible. She spoke about faith. About dreaming big. About the courage it takes to go after what you truly want — and about her husband, Wole, who she described as a phenomenal partner in both life and vision, a man who has stood alongside this dream every step of the way.

The Ribbon Is Cut

The moment arrived. MP Ned Kuruc, Pastor Fidelis Odogbo, Tomi and Wole Adenuga stepped together to the entrance of the warehouse. Hands on scissors, ribbon stretched across the doorway, they cut — officially welcoming everyone into the Soft Canada Auctions warehouse for the very first time.

The guests poured in. MP Kuruc and the attendees were taken on a walkthrough of the space, rows of shelved goods on display, the scale of the operation clear for all to see.

Making It Real: The Online Auction Experience

Wunmi Eruaga, Founder and CEO of Bluemass Marketing Inc. — the strategic partner behind Soft Canada Auctions' branding, marketing, and growth strategy — took the floor to walk guests through the auction process. With a projector displaying the live Soft Canada Auctions website, he demonstrated how intuitive and seamless the online bidding experience is, encouraging every guest in the room to register, explore current lots, and become a winner themselves. The pitch was simple and compelling: Fair deals. Plenty surprises. All bids start at $1.00 CAD.

A Party Worth Attending

The celebration did not stop at business. MC Vibey kept the energy high throughout the day, while DJ Mysteek set the soundtrack — a vibe that felt as much like a community gathering as it did a corporate launch. The catering was a standout: an elegantly styled grazing table from Focus Foods, laden with canapes, bites, and beautifully presented drinks that guests kept returning to.

And then came the cake — a stunning custom creation bearing the Soft Canada Auctions logo — that was cut to cheers and shared with everyone in the room.

What It All Means

The Soft Canada Auctions grand opening was more than a launch event. It was a statement. A statement that immigrant entrepreneurs are not just participating in the Canadian economy — they are shaping it, enriching it, and building institutions that serve their communities in meaningful ways.

Tomi and Wole Adenuga have built something to be proud of. And if May 29th is any indication, the best is very much still ahead.
